It's too bad the series' sole lesbian feature is so melodramatically over the top. Then again, it's probably pretty tasteful by the standards of a director previously associated with schlock like 2000's Raw Nerve (Mario Van Peebles meets Nicollette Sheridan!) and 2001's Tales from the Crypt Presents: Voodoo.
