In Dame Hooker's DVD doc Land of the Homicide, commentators become victims of the violence they describe


Obviously the tragic series of murders gives his DVD an authority and authenticity most documentaries couldn't buy. But the price is not something he would have willingly paid.

"Land of the Homicide, that's based on really good friends," he said. "DVDs, those don't matter when it's someone you know."
