They should have told me about the topping at Bonnie's

I couldn't fathom, let alone eat, the cornbread, but otherwise cleaned my plate. Counting tea and tip, it was a $20 snack. At my new least-favorite restaurant. *

You want cheap eats in Alameda? Goodness, there are plenty of them.

The House--for luncheon sandwiches, quiche, soup and one-person pizzas.
Dragon Rouge--Pretty good vietnamese
Yojimbos--This Kurosawa-inspired sushi spot does it right at the price.
East Ocean--Not just good dim sum, but very good dim sum

You somehow lucked (bad-lucked ?) into one of the least likeable places in town.
