"Last year was remarkably good weather, and it was unlikely we would see that again," Harvey said fatalistically. But Burning Man is meant to be difficult and unpredictable. After all, he said, "We're talking about chaos here."

Comments

There's no way this article was written by Steven T. Jones, I don't see a single plug for his Burning Man book.

the timing of this lawsuit and bad press against Pershing County officials (and angry comments from burners) is ill-timed to say the least.

on the eve of the burn, don't expect Pershing County LEOs to go easy on anyone. in fact, expect to be hunted down like the dogs they think burners are, and now confirmed by all the nasty things being said.
