First, the Bad News

SAN FRANCISCO LITERATI BEWARE.

Online bookseller Alibris is steadily setting up contracts to buy discarded books from Goodwill stores up and down the West Coast, robbing local booksellers of one of the larger, cheaper sources of less-common used books.
