Zeltzman and Colburn
Thurs.-Sun., Dance Mission Theater

PERFORMANCES BY THE Dominique Zeltzman-Selene Colburn team have become all too rare since the latter left the sidewalks of the Bay Area for the woods of Vermont. The Stomach Never Lies: True Confessions and Moving Images is an opportunity to find out what has happened to the two excellently matched choreographer-dancers, who in the '90s went to town in a style that was physical, off-the-cuff, and often hilarious – they called it "urban tomboy funk." For this reunion each will present a solo: Colburn's The Devotion Cluster, a love letter of guilty pleasures to the Rolling Stones, and Zeltzman's The Stalker in Me, a rediscovery of her interior closet. They also went back to work with the man they consider their mentor, Remy Charlip. Alone Some and Twosome is one of Charlip's "Air Mail Dances," ingenious little kaleidoscopes that change every time you see them. Also included is Window's Edge, performed by Zeltzman and Kathleen Hermesdorf. 8 p.m., 3316 24th St., S.F. $10-$15. (415) 273-4633. (Rita Felciano)
