THE 45TH SAN Francisco International Film Festival runs April 18-May 2. Opening night is Thurs/18 and features Thirteen Conversations about One Thing, followed by a party with Super Diamond (screening 7 p.m., Castro Theatre; party 9:30 p.m.-midnight, S.F. Design Center Galleria, 101 Henry Adams, S.F. $75). Venues are Kabuki 8 Theatres, 1881 Post, S.F.; Castro Theatre, 429 Castro, S.F.; New PFA Theater, 2575 Bancroft, Berk.; and Park Theatre, 1275 El Camino Real, Menlo Park. Tickets are $7.50-$9.50, $5-$6 weekday matinees, $18-$20 special programs, and may be purchased in advance at the main box office at 1881 Post; at www.sffs.org; or by calling (925) 275-9490.
