The lowdown on Ladyfest Bay Area LADYFEST BAY AREA runs Wed/24-Sun/28, and events are open to all genders. Most events are all ages; check the Web site for exceptions. For Women in the Arts, 2781 24th St., S.F.; Galia, 2565 Mission, S.F.; Mission Creek Café, 968 Valencia, S.F.; Mission High School, 3750 18th St., S.F.; New College Cultural Center, 766 Valencia, S.F.; New College Theater, 777 Valencia, S.F.; Pond Gallery, 214 Valencia, S.F.; San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center, 1800 Market, S.F.; Spanganga Gallery, 3376 19th St., S.F.; and Victoria Theatre, 2961 16th St., S.F. Three-day passes are $55-$90 sliding scale, and five-day passes are $70-$100 sliding scale; passes can be purchased online at www.ladyfestbayarea.org or in person at Mod Lang Records, 2136 University, Berk.; Mama Bear's Women's Books, 6536 Telegraph, Oakl.; and Modern Times Bookstore, 888 Valencia, S.F. Buy three passes (either kind) and get $10 off each one. Tickets for single events will also be sold at the door of each performance 30 minutes beforehand.
