'Holiday Gingerbread House Contest and Display' Pan Pacific San Francisco, 500 Post; 771-8600. Dec 1-30. The 18-story-hotel lobby hosts a competitive display of holiday gingerbread houses built by local pastry chefs, culinary school students, home cooks, and youths.
