1. Papalote Mexican Grill 3409 24th St., S.F. (415) 970-8815 Papalote's meat comes from Manna Foods in Oakland, which supplies natural beef from Montana. The chicken and pork are not always sustainably farmed. Ask when you order.

2. Tlaloc Taqueria 525 Commercial, S.F. (415) 981-7800 When it can afford to do so, Tlaloc purchases its beef from popular sustainable-farming distributor Niman Ranch. Ask a manager when you're ordering.
