Hats off Oleg Tachkov and Elina Davenport, brother-sister owners of ADS Hats (758 Valencia, S.F. 415-255-2787, www.adshats.com), have been making and molding their millinery creations to delighted heads at their current location for the past year. From warm woolies to feathered fantasies, Tachkov says, "Our customer base is extremely broad. You name it, we've had them here, from skateboarders to socialites." Tribe vibe Also celebrating a successful 12 months is online community Tribe.net. Though it offers service to 200,000 users worldwide, 30,000 local users call it home, using it to connect for discussing everything from Burning Man to boogie boards. To celebrate, the company will sponsor two hours of free drinks at the Odeon (3223 Mission, S.F. 415-550-6994) on Aug. 26, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., and open the stage to members who want to perform. Says spokesperson Valerie Garing, "We've been a success here because we allow people to make their own world."
