Stand-up comics The Isotope comic store and lounge (326 Fell, SF. 415-621-6543) moved from its Outer Sunset location to the center of town on Fell Street. Owner James Sime has even noticed a post-opera crowd. Sime, who used to work as a bartender, wanted to jazz up his shop by making the atmosphere more publike. "Comic books needed some class and style," says Sime, who furnished the store with seats for lounging and enjoying live readings. There's even a toilet seat museum. How swanky is that? Suds and cinema Can't decide whether to stay home with a good movie or go out for a drink? The Element Lounge (1028 Geary, SF. 415-440-1125) gives you the best of both worlds on its "Movies and Beer" night every Tuesday. Next up, on July 19, is a Kubrick double-shot of A Clockwork Orange and Eyes Wide Shut. "We wanted to provide a kind of alternative for people who just want to chill out and watch movies and drink beer," co-owner Neej Gore says. (Giselle Velazquez)
