Approximately 20,000 revelers converged at the Family Dog's final Tribal Stomp to honor the late leader of the pack, Chet Helms, and look back San Francisco's Summer of Love. Blue Cheer and the Charlatans reunited, sharing the stage with artists such as Country Joe McDonald, Quicksilver Gold, Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks, Eric Burdon, Harvey Mandel, Canned Heat, the Rowan Brothers, and Cold Blood with Lydia Pense.
