San Francisco Arts of Pacific Asia Show

ART EXHIBITION AND SALE

The San Francisco Arts of Pacific Asia Show, in affiliation with the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco's Chong-Moon Lee Center for Asian Art and Culture, celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exhibition of Pacific Asian artifacts and antiques from the collections of more than 80 international dealers and galleries specializing in Asian art, including San Rafael-based Farrow Fine Art Gallery's collection of Pacific Asian warrior weaponry and Milan, Italy-based Dalton-Somare's rare Indian, Tibetan, and Nepalese archaeological pieces from the second century, BC. This is a special opportunity for both the casual art-appreciator and the serious collector to view treasures created during the last 2,000 years. Other highlights from the show are Han Dynasty pottery; Edo and Meiji period bronzes, textiles, and prints; ceramics from Korea; and Tibetan checkerboards. (Eliana Fiore)
