From Cindy Sheehan
The Revolution Will not be Reported!
Or Funded by Corporate Interests!
Dear Friend/Supporter,
It has been 10 days since the election and Cindy for Congress is still going strong.
I am going to start a radio show on Green 960 AM beginning November 29th at 11:30am. The brilliant part of my show is that I will be on right after Corporate Democrat, Gavin Newsom (mayor of SF). My new show is called: Cindy Sheehan's Soap Box and we will have an amazing guest to interview each week and I will sound off on different topics: war/peace; politics; human rights; international relations; foreign policy; etc. My show will have a global/local scope to it and will also be a call to action. Also, on every show, I will answer a couple of the hundreds of emails we get every week. We will pod cast the show from our website.
The reason we are undertaking this new show, is that the corporate media (locally and nationally) wrote me off and put a blockade on coverage even before we began our campaign. When there was coverage, the writer would opine that either: a) wouldn't get on the ballot as an independent; b) not even beat the Republican; c) not even get 10 percent. Well, friend, I a) got on the ballot (which took 10,198 signatures); b) beat the Republican by a lot and c) got almost 17% of the vote. We did far better than anyone who has ever run against Pelosi in the past and that was with very, very little media coverage. Some election night coverage only reported the stats from Nancy Pelosi and the Republican, leaving me out entirely!
So far, (still counting) we have over 45,000 votes! With your help, we were able to mount a very serious campaign that was fueled by our very progressive platform and the support of thousands of people all over the country. Thank you so much for believing in peace, accountability and true progressive values!
We are already organizing for 2010 and have kept a skeletal staff and our office to do this and we are starting a PAC (political action committee) to be able to sustain our campaign until we come out even stronger than before in 2010. We also have some campaign debt to pay off.
I truly believe with the foundation that we have built and the growing disasters that our confronting our country, (facilitated by the "leadership" of Nancy Pelosi), we have an excellent chance of taking her seat in 2010 and finally giving San Francisco a true progressive Congressional Rep. Finally, we will also be working with progressive political activists around the nation to mount challenges to every Congressperson that does not effectively represent the interests of "We the People," and not the corporate pirates.
Love & Peace

Some were wondering what Cindy $heehan would do after her campaign for Congress came to an end. We have our answer now. The "peace" mom has her own radio show lined up for 2 weeks from today. So for those who were wondering what she did with those spare campaign funds, we now know it is going toward air time.
Did anybody actually think she was going to disappear? Yeah right. Once Hurricane Katrina wiped her out of the headlines after her August 2005 failed protest outside the Bush ranch, she was determined to keep her name in the news. Who can forget the t-shirt stunt at the 2006 State of the Union Address, the embrace of dictator Huge-O Chavez, her failed book, the hunger strike which lasted somewhere around 6 hours, the many arrests for civil disobedience, the announcement that she was "retiring" as the face of the peace movement, and the failed run for Congress? I'm sure I'm missing some other stunts, but you get the picture. At first she was seen as a mourning mother, but now this is all about her, and she is no different than the "BushCo" war-profiteers she likes to criticize.
Now she blames her Congressional loss on the media "ignoring" her. Yet of all the parents who have lost children in Iraq, I can't think of one who has received more media attention than $heehan. I could understand being bitter if it was close, but considering Pelosi got over 4 times the vote that $heehan did, I think San Francisco has made it clear who the people want representing them. Of course she will cry out for impeaching Bush over the next 2 months, but what will she be crying about after Jan. 20 when President Elect Obama takes office?
Cindy, what are you really more sad about: the loss of your brave son or the fact that you continue to be reduced to irrelevancy? I think the latter.
Peace on Earth.

With Sheehan (and Nader alike), it is not a vanity project like so many are fond of thinking. They are on the front lines fighting to have progressive ideas be part of the conversation. The current established Republicans and Democrats and the monied interests that back them would be happy to ignore these ideas and have them go away. I'm glad there are still statesmen out there fighting for the good stuff.

RE: Wendy Nelson:
You've been extremely unfair to Cindy Sheehan with that comment you posted and I'm going to call you out on it. She's done more for progressive politics as an "average person" than you'll ever know, or even care to know. She didn't study to be a career politician. Her choice to run wasn't about seeking power for its own sake. Her candidacy is not about stunts, or the media spotlight. It's about actually giving enough of a damn to do something about the situation we are in a nation. And no, I wasn't a part of the Sheehan campaign, but I did vote for her and help get the word out to my friends to do the same. Considering how well she did against that wishy washy, poll-driven, corporate sleaze Pelosi, I might just join her campaign for 2010.
People like Cindy Sheehan, Ralph Nader, and yes, Chris Daly, should be REWARDED for their uncompromising tenacity, not vilified! You say she does it for the attention. I say you're right - she's trying to get our attention, so that she can alert us to the crimes being perpetrated in our name. Yes, she draws attention to herself, the way an alarm clock does in the morning. She's trying to wake people up so they demand economic justice, civil rights for all, and an end to the war in Iraq. That an ordinary woman like her gets off her ass every morning to go out and do her part to change the country is to be COMMENDED! How many moms in their 50s do you know that have devoted their lives to activism AND managed to gain national media attention for their efforts? She isn't just waiting for someone else to lead the movement - she's doing it herself.
You and a slew of others imply that she used Casey Sheehan's death to gain media attention and worse - that his death somehow ranks second in importance to the opinions of people like you. First of all, such a remark is callous and cynical. If by renouncing her fame and status as an activist she could bring her son back for even a minute, she'd do it in a heartbeat. She didn't take advantage of her son's death - she was compelled by it. Others may start a trust fund in their name, create a statue in their memory, or simply grieve. Either course of action is perfectly fine. But Cindy chose to take action above and beyond what most people have done, driven by anger and grief to the point that she would move mountains to see the real perpetrators of Casey's death punished. Who else among the grieving have been compelled so much that they've dedicated time, effort, and resources towards a cause greater than themselves? That monumental, single-minded effort in the name of her son - THAT is love. What could YOU possible know about that?

And Let's End This Nonsense Of Chavez As 'Dictator'-
Hugo Chavez is not, and has never been, a dictator. He has been overwhelmingly elected and re-elected in repeated landslide elections which were fully observed and verified by strong teams of international election observers; including Jimmy Carter.
Cindy stood with Chavez because of what he has done for the world's people and democracy.
Chavez has used federal funds to create directly democratic neighborhood groups all over Venezuela, in order to devolve power from hierarchical governments to the people. He has been the leader of a political wave in South and Central America to throw out imperial international capitalism and replace it with local and public control and ownership of vital resources and industries.
Chavez has helped found a global movement that is finally standing up to the U.S., World Bank, IMF, WTO, FTAA, etc. and winning.
That is why Cindy wisely stood with Chavez, and should do so at every opportunity.

I applaud Cindy Sheehan for ceaselessly demanding accountability in government, when everyone else in the mainstream press is doing their level best to ignore the egregious crimes that have been and continue to be committed there. I look forward to hearing Cindy's show.

Wendy,
You're plenty smart. but you go one thing wrong. She's not paying them, they're paying HER. She won't part with any of the $300,000.00 she skimmed. It's ClearChannel, they pay her to bring in the Moon_Bats!

Cindy
People who do a google keyword search for the words Crazy and cindy as a two-word phrase, are waiting to hear from you. Will your soap-box be round, square, rectangular or coffin-shaped?
What did you do with the three hundred thousand dollars that was left over from your campaign?
How much is Clear Channel paying you? Aren't they one of the "Corporate Interests" that you said at the outset of your rant, wouldn't be funding the "revolution"?
BTW, I hope you're not paying too much for shills now. The ones you had before were weak, but now it's getting pathetic. Please tell actionjackson@cindyforcongress.org that I wish her well.
And while we're on the topic. why don't you chime in and post here too?

What's the matter, Cindy?
You LOVE sending out press releases.
You're always posting on your "blog" where you carefully screen the comments that get posted.
Cindy, if you can't handle defending your statements here, what makes you think you'd be anything but an embarrassment to the whole country if, God forbid, you ever DID get elected to ANY position? Oh, that's right, you're Crazy, Cindy.
Stop hiding behind your shills, Cindy.
It's time someone called you out.
Step up to the plate, Cindy!
Come on, batter, batter, batter.
Climb down off Casey's coffin and let everyone see what a loony, inarticulate MoonBat you really are.
We're all waiting Cindy...
And we know you watch the comment sections like a hawk.
Cat got your tongue, Mama Moonbat?
Casey had courage. Casey was a hero. And there you are hiding in the shadows.
And you wanted to debate Pelosi? Disgusting as Pelosi is, she's a professional politician, like everyone else in the House of Representatives. She'd have let you make a fool of yourself and left the stage as your shrieking was drowned out by the laughter.
So let's her from YOU Cindy.
Start your stopwatches (calendars) folks. Let's see how long it takes the MoonBat to speak up in a place where she has to answer meaningful questions.

And Jody Paulson,
At least be honest about who you are.
Of course you "look forward to hearing Cindy's show"
You're another of Crazy Cindy's shills. The people reading this deserve to know that you were/are on Cindy's Campaign staff.
On your blog you wrote:
"Sorry I haven't posted anything new for a while, understandably I've been very busy with election day and all that ... and now Cindy's office has been closed for most of the week, so I'm back to having to use the library computer, and only have an hour to get a halfway decent view of what's going on in the world, let alone blog"
and also:
"Later we took the same banner to do some "highway blogging." After that, we all piled into Cindy's RV "Jezebel" which is covered with Cindy signs, peace designs, etc., and drove around town with Cindy and her campaign manager Tiffany calling out the window with a bullhorn. It was pretty funny, the stuff they came up with to say ("Vote for me, I've got an RV!" :)"
Would that be the $70,000.00 that Cindy kept after the election was over? Since you work/worked for her, would you mind asking

Look at this turd - Plowboy...
Disinformation is false or inaccurate information that is spread deliberately. It may include the distribution of forged documents, manuscripts, and photographs, or propagation of malicious rumors and fabricated intelligence. Disinformation should not be confused with misinformation, which is merely false information spread unintentionally.
This specific disinformation is the deliberate spreading of false information to mislead the public, as to one's position or course of action. In politics, disinformation is the deliberate attempt to deflect voter support of an opponent, disseminating false statements of innuendo based on the candidates vulnerabilities. In both cases, it also includes the distortion of true information in such a way as to render rational conversation here useless.
Plowboy either has no life and is sadistically obsessed with Cindy, or a paid CIA agent to spread the disinformation and token words like "moonbat" "Crazy Cindy" "thief" "stealing campaign money, Post names of staff members, spin all news stories, and spam all comments on articles about Cindy. He posts all over the net, on every Cindy Sheehan articles' with the same comments attacking Cindy. What a sick loser posting here from www.cindysheehanwatch.com. The same with the other name he uses: Wendy Nelson.

I am a sick pervert who harrasses Cindy Sheehan because I don't have a family, and I don't know what it's like to lose a loved one. I sit at the computer all day wacking off to porn and Sarah Palin pictures, and of course, stalking Cindy Sheehan articles online all day.
