Premature inflammation?

Somebdoy tried to burn the Burning Man icon, a bit too soon. A San Francisco man was arrested and charged with arson.

OUr man on the scene, Steve Jones, just called in by satellite phone to let us know that the premature inflammation happened during the lunar eclipse, and that the mood on the playa is a bit somber. More details to come.

a festival for spontaneity, artistic creation, and living on the dangerous edge of life. come on, let's get real...the burning man in its inception was spontaneous and now traditon is creating rigid rules, as it does. i say let the guy off, it may be the only thing some people remember. years from now when one festival runs into the next in a blurry yet beautiful memory, nobody will forget the day that the burning man burnt early.
