Getting the word out for a friend whose cousin has been missing for 2 weeks:
Alicia Amanda Stokes, who goes by Mandy, is 33 years old, 5'4" with blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen on Sunday, November 25 at her home in Oakland. Her car was found abandoned containing her wallet and cell phone at 5000 Park Blvd, one freeway exit away from her home. If you have any information that could lead to Mandy's safe
return home to her family, please call 404-931-7044 or 702-318-1590 or the Oakland Police Department who is investigating her case.

I think this is the saddest story...this is my cousin who as a kid thought the world of and as an adult never really got a chance to get to know....now I will never know....the saddest part is that they police just gave up on Mandy and now who knows what or where she is or what really happened to her.....and who did this to her and that there were no leads well I guess we will never know because they just decided to hang it up....I pray that they find her so the mystery will be solved and everyones mind can be at peace.....maybe she is safe with her father.....

Mandy is my daughter. The numbers to be called are 678-596-9700 and/or 404-355-5407 in regard to any infomation.
I am heartbroken and miss my Mandy so much.
I pray that she is found alive and well soon.
There is no new information from the police at this time 7/17/08.
Appreciation for those who are truly concerned.
