How Weird Street Faire is the best annual party in San Francisco, bar none, particularly on days like this Sunday when the sun is scheduled to shine brightly. I'll be among thousands of people dancing my ass off to some of this city's best DJs and generally mixing it up in a way that I'll probably regret on Monday, particularly with the plethora of cool after parties around the epicenter of Howard and 2nd streets. The fair shuts down at 6 p.m., an unfortunate cut-off that the city first imposed last year, so get there around noon-ish and don't forget the sunscreen.

And once again, How Weird didn't disappoint. The new location was in many ways even better than the old one and the unnaturally early 6 pm cutoff point for the fair's sound facilitated some fun after parties in Temple and other nearby spots, which began to wind down at a reasonable enough hour for us working stiffs to get a full night's sleep last night. Thanks to Santosh and the gang for a great party and perfect kickoff to a season of fun.

Yeah! Big ups to the appropriate people Santosh, Justin, Michael, Pedro! Thanks for giving us that dope spot under the overpass! Tre atmospheric! Everyone from the Lowpro Lounge had a blast, and love being involved in this San Francisco institution!
Wanted to let everyone know that The Flying Skulls recorded our set, and will be posting it up at http://theflyingskulls.com along with video of the performance!
