Sonic Reducer Overage: Pendulum, Killdozer, Kowloon Walled City, and more

Taken for granted? Pendulum's "Granite."

Whoa, again, San Fran coughs up the fun stuff to do this week - and as usual, it's far more than we can handle in one mere newspaper. Here's what didn't make it into print, but may be worth leaving the house for.

SKYGREEN LEOPARDS AND EYES
SF’s feline psychedelicists stir, alongside Eyes’ proggy dreamers. With the Mantles. Thurs/9, 9 p.m., $8. Bottom of the Hill, 1233 17th St., SF. (415) 621-4455.

GLITCH MOB
The LA glitch-hoppers unleash the Equal Opportunity Enjoyer on an unsuspecting public. With Megasoid, Rustie, Eprom, and Anasia. Fri/10, 9 p.m. doors, $20 advance. Mezzanine, 444 Jessie, SF. (415) 625-8880.

Touch me: Killdozer at the Touch and Go 25th anniversary.

KILLDOZER
After performing for Touch and Go’s 25th in 2006, the grindingly heavy combo is back. Hey, I love 'em. But now the question is, who isn’t back? With Hank IV and Turks. Sat/11, 10 p.m., $12. Bottom of the Hill, 1233 17th St., SF. (415) 621-4455.

Clocking in: Kowloon Walled City plays "Another Corporate Takeover" at Thee Parkside.

KOWLOON WALLED CITY
Named for the infamous Hong Kong tenement, the SF metallists break out a new Wordclock EP, which they say was touched by Bay Area heavies of the past as well as Amphetamine Reptile's ear-bleed thoroughbreds. Exhibit one: the EP's "Turk, Taylor, and Jones" - inspired by the Tenderloin hood the band rehearses in. With Walken, Mountain High, and Loving Thunder. Sat/11, 9 p.m., $7. Annie's Social Club, 917 Folsom, SF. (800) 504-9128.

Ride 'em: "Propane Nightmares."

PENDULUM
The Aussie-bred-now-England-based drum 'n' bass combo has been turning an increasingly pop cheek to their audience. Word has it that their “Propane Nightmares” single is the most requested tune on Live 105’s Soundcheck.
Tues/14, 8 p.m., $25. Fillmore, 1805 Geary, SF. (415) 346-6000.
