Since everyone seems to be keeping a tight clamp on their cash these days, projects considered less necessary are being cast aside. Personally, I’ve always been a fan of going above and beyond spring cleaning and in favor of a full spring interior redecoration. It’s wonderful when your interior mirrors the sunny, blossomy exterior world (even if it's raining right now). Also, getting out of bed on Monday morning is a little easier when your home feels happy and new.

Stop feeling stuck in your domestic space.
A color printer and an old frame is all you need to add the whimsical and sunny designs of artists like the fantastical Scott Lindsey Carr and hopeful psychedelic Valentina Ramos or illustrators like Glamour’s ink-on-paper darling Samantha Hahn and cheerful children’s book illustrator Liz Wong .

The artists donated designs to a free art project called Free Your Soul which was started by blogger Jen Wallace to cheer sprits and homes in the dire economic situation by giving away free art. Brilliant, really. Perhaps you can placing the literary themed pictures of girls reading atop stacks of books or tree stumps on a bookshelf or use the aviary images to add a sweet visual song to your bathroom walls.
A few new art pieces on the wall, a little rearranging of the furniture, and your home will be ready for spring, without spending anything.
