SF Gate is reporting low turnout and bored election workers playing sudoku. In Bernal Heights, where I live, the poll workers told me it had been very slow -- and that's not good news, since this is usually a high-turnout district.

I wrote the article about Iron Maiden's "Number of the Beast" for this weeks' SFBG. Strangely enough, not only was there a printing error in the print edition (the article did appear online) but the website goes down on the day in question. Well, if it is my fault, I apologize--but I would prefer to blame the Christians.
