OK, fine. I'm sorry, but I had to. The thing that hurts is that I'm actually weighing voting for her after the past week ... once I finish this Glamour.

But the real question is: When will Britney respond?

expatriate:

Actually, Obama flip-flopped and now supports off-shore drilling, just like McCain.

That would be part of the week I was referring to, alas. They said on Jim Lehrer last Friday that the buzzphrase we'd soon tire of would be "environmentally sensitive drilling" ... if only they meant acne treatments! Wave goodbye to the sonic-boomed manatee, folks -- or maybe we'll just see more of them migrating to the Hudson river

Miguel:

What's wrong with relocating obviously genetically doomed manatees (and condors and pandas) to zoos? That way we can prevent any worry of extinction while simultainously enhancing out domestic natural resource production. Who says we need wildlife in the wild?

Man is king of this here earth and we should be unhindered in our utilization of it and its resources.

Out next task (thankfully occurring now) is lifting the 5 billion poor souls living in destitute conditions up to a standard of living commensurate with the developed world. Imagine the day when the entire world lives as Americans do. I get giddy just thinking about it.

This is Miguel, your resident libertarian, signing off.

Forget the zoos, Miguel -- aren't we already uploading these animals digitally? Zoos are so icky -- much cleaner to transport them into epistemological quanta.
