Not in a "who will save the babies" sort of way, which would be entirely possible and easy considering all the bodies piled up by Islamic nut cases here, but in a more, "what separates you from a creation scientist" sort of way.

Reading your articles and you blog, your skeptical credentials are lacking.

So then, Glen, you aren't skeptical about the official theory on 9/11? You think the Bush Administration did everything it could to heed the intelligence warnings and defend the country, that all errors made that day were purely coincidental, then they responded to the attacks in a forthright manner free of hidden agendas or ulterior motives? And you believe all of that based on the 9/11 Commission's work, the only official inquiry into that day? And how exactly does that burnish your skeptical credentials?
Or is equating my questions with that of a "creation scientist" -- a point I really don't understand -- just an example of the belittlement and name-calling that I discussed?

The "Building 7" shibboleth is so unbelievably stupid. How many times do the Truthers have to be told? Building 7's basement held an enormous quantity of diesel fuel designed to be used for generators to power the city's emergency operations center, which was stupidly located in the Twin Towers. When the towers collapsed the fuel ignited and destroyed the building. It's not exactly rocket science Steven and there's no real mystery about it.

Chris Sarns pointed out that a photo of the generator room louvers showed no smoke exiting the room. Thus either the louvers were closed, in which case any fires got no air, or the louvers were open and there was no fire.

There were warnings from 13 foreign countries, 3 FBI offices and the CIA. The UK, Germany, Italy, and Egypt specifically warned of planes as weapons.

A lot of my neighbors, all Democrats - we are all Democrats down here - say that they cannot vote for Governor Smith, and I don't know what the reason is. But there must be some good answer. Will you tell me so I can go back and talk to them? They tell me, these neighbors of mine, and they show me printed handbills saying that if [Catholic] Governor Smith becomes president of the United States, the Methodist and Baptist marriages over here among our neighbors will all be void and that their children will be illegitimate.'"

Roosevelt's audience laughed at the improbability of this assertion. "You may laugh," he continued, "But they were not laughing. They thought it was true, and they were honest, law-abiding citizens. They did not have the education, the contact, to know better. Oh, I could go on and tell you a thousand stories along that line."

“Something is wrong with this picture,” thought Nathan Lomba, as he watched replays of the Twin Tower collapses on television on September 11, 2001. A licensed structural engineer trained in buildings’ responses to stress, Lomba saw more on the screen than you or I. He puzzled, “How did the structures collapse in near-symmetrical fashion when the damage was clearly not symmetrical?”

Lomba was hardly alone in his discomfort. Most structural engineers were surprised when the towers fell. A recent headline in Bloomberg News said: "Obama Offers Key Posts to those who Bankrolled Campaign."

Under the 11th Circuit's ruling in "The Siegelman Case," President Obama and contributors who accept appointments could be indicted and convicted of bribery and extortion if President Obama knew at the time they made a contribution that the donor wanted the post to which the President later appointed them.

54 former Attorneys General, both Democrats and Republicans, said the 11th Circuit's ruling in the Siegelman case means "a prosecutor has the power to indict and convict any politician and any donor whenever a donation was made and the politician took action consistent with the donor's desire, while aware of said desire."

Your Congressional representatives need to know about this. Send them a message today!

Here is why it is important to Members of the House and Senate:

What's at stake is whether an elected official can be prosecuted for doing something for a contributor. Sound crazy? It is! The U.S. Supreme Court made it clear in McCormick v. U.S. that it takes an actual explicit quid pro quo agreement before the line between politics and crime is crossed. However, in my case, the court said that juries may infer an agreement from the minds and actions of the elected official and the contributor, the opposite of explicit.

The 54 former State Attorneys General told the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in the Siegelman case: "Such an interpretation puts at risk every politician who accepts a campaign contribution." "...criminalizing activities that fall short of an explicit quid pro quo agreement, can only lead to an impermissible chilling effect on the First Amendment right to contribute to political campaigns."

It is important not only to my freedom but also to every elected official, including the President Obama, to get this First Amendment issue clarified.

As I raise money to pay for my $150,000 appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court I am asking you to continue the fight in Congress.
