On Sept. 27, 2010, the FBI raided the Chicago home of Arab American Action Network Executive Director

Hatem Abudayyeh and the homes and offices of 22 other pro-Arab and anti-war activists, accusing them of ties to terrorism, which their supporters deny. Abudayyeh will speak about his experiences since the raid and about how the FBI targets domestic political organizations.

Marriage counter sit-in

Celebrate the most romantic day of the year Guardian-style, by giving the finger to the status quo and helping to expose blatant discriminatory marriage laws. Everyone is invited to converge on the steps of City Hall for speakers, a performance by the East Bay Gay Men's Chorus, and some spirited civil disobedience.
