The 7,000-mile Silk Road trade route extending through Iran, China, Turkey, India, Greece, and Egypt will be recreated today for a cross-cultural extravaganza. In the evening sit back and enjoy performances by an array of ethnic dance groups.

We advise snagging a spot on the Golden Gate Bridge, which will be closed to cars during the event.
