Is this message like the goofy rights view that if a real Reagan conservative ran for president the nation would vote for him in droves?

The left and right is interesting, they think the rest of us are stupid because we don't vote correctly, but if a "real" conservative or liberal ran for office we would all run out and vote for them.

The point of the webcast, as far as I could tell, was that Democrats have ignored the wishes of their base.

The major league idiot of this website didn't seem to grasp that kinda simple point. If Obama had done what the people that elected him wanted, his Democrats wouldn't be losing 60 seats in the House.

For a guy that is on here 24/7 and is certainly riding the SSI crazy pay trian, you sure are one unhappy little psychopath, pal.

Obama was campaigning around the country claiming that he did what "the people" wanted him to do.

No, I'm pretty much right, the leftists go on about how the republicans are like a Stalinist cult and how they are going to fuck things up, two short years after the electorate was very smart and voted for Obama.

If we tuned into AM radio shouters I'm sure they have reversed the positions over the last two years.

Are you limahl from kajagoogoo?

Tim, your core thesis doesn't hold up.

You say we should not let Republicans take the House because if they get control of the House they'll block everything from unemployment extension to apple pie.

But the obvious point that you are so unbelievably missing is that, even in their current weak numbers, the Republicans are -already- doing that. What difference does it make who has slightly more votes in the House? None.

So the best move we can make in this election is to send a -strong- message to the Dems, 'You Fucked Up - You're outa here - until you start doing what we elected you to do.'

Exactly correct. I'm glad you see this for what it is and are not still falling for and locked into this Democratic v Republican lock which most people remain in and refuse to get out of. It is really like a religion for them. I'll only add that since 2000 the Democrats have served as employees of the Republicans and act more like Republicans than many of the Republicans do. Wars/occupations, illegal spying, rendition, torture, droning Pakistan, massive corporate bailouts to bankers and Wall Street, erosion of civil liberties, Patriot Act, no serious 911 investigation ("we must look forward" and ignore all corruption), no progressive agenda anywhere within the Democratic Religion, refuse to hold the Bush Crime Family et al accountable ("we must look forward" again, massive bailout to the corporate health care industry, mountain top removal, the BP disaster (again "look forward"), ignoring peak oil, ignoring the environmental destruction going on. That's a short list. How could things get any worse under the Republicans since they are ALREADY in power and have been since 2000 whether they have a D or R beside their name. Vote NO on the Republican Faith. Vote NO on the Democratic Faith.
