I don't know who the San Francisco Association of Realtors has hired to make its campaign videos, and the Realtor folks aren't calling me back (imagine that). But it's some weirdo shit. They've got Eric Mar holding meetings in a steam room -- and now they've got London Breed portrayed as cheddar cheese in a sandwich.

For real.

It's called "London Calling," and no, there's no clash music. It starts off as if it's heading into Journey, but then becomes it's own peppy vocal track, with lines like "London Breed, London Breed, She's the one San Francisco needs" and (my all-time favorite) "London Breed will bring us together, We are slices of bread, she's the melted cheddar."

Which voters is that aimed at?

OMG. you can't be serious realtors!

This is without question the worst campaign video I have ever seen in my entire life. The realtor's Eric Mar video was unintentionally hilarious but this is so unbelievably hilariously bad I simply cannot manage to wrap my head around it. Someone please explain to me how someone gets paid money to make this.

In no imaginable scenario does this video gain London a single vote. She should be begging the realtors to remove this from the internet. It's incredibly embarrassing. It's preposterous. It's poorly sung. The lyrics are inane. 3/4 of the video are shot outside of her district. The chart-paper visuals look like something from a second-grade class project. It would take hours to exhaust the list of glaring issues with this piece of shit propaganda.

Please realtors, keep it coming. This is the best entertainment in SF politics I've seen in years!

I'm a huge London fan but

This video is just (no pun intended) cheesy awful. It's less creepy than the Mar one but that's about the only good thing you can say about it. Oh, and the production values are quite nice (except for the chart paper titles, but I'm thinking the 2nd-grade thing was intentional). They paid a lot for this. And I heard Jim Fabris is suddenly leaving the SFAR "to spend more time with his family."

LMAO!...this is perfect for Ms. Breed. because she is full of " CHEESE". Processed Cheese that is. The kind that doesnt melt. She is NOT versed on specifics and this is something done by some clowns, who are obviously making a parody or the realtor people, if their serious. Have to be trying to lose this race for Ms. Breed. Maybe it's a gift for the " rubber stamping" she's done on their behalf. What a joke. Yet ironically, just beautifully fitting. Shows this woman has no crasp of whats going on arounb her. Where's her campaign manager.

does anyone realize that these ads are produced by strategic perception, a political ad agancy that almost exclusively cuts ads for republicans. They are the group that did the swollen Barbara Boxer head, the lazer eye sheep ad and the notorious "I am not a witch" ad???

The Realtors always make shitty ads for their endorsed candidates, because Jim Fabris fancies himself a political consultant, when in fact his mailers and such are often so bad, they do the opposite and HELP non-Realtor endorsed candidates win. They are also notoriously cheap and hire sub-standard people to put together their crappy mailers, newspaper ads, and whatnot. Even Realtors hate the leadership here in SF because they are always ignoring their own members' thoughts and just demand money to pay for this shit.
